Watch Annika Wallin's talk on decisions at TEDx Norrköping in July 2012
What is a good decision? To adhere to specific norms designed to keep us out of trouble? Or to try to get as much success as possible? Unfortunately the two are not easily combined. Annika Wallin is a "Kjell Härnqvist Pro Futuris Fellow" at Lund University Cognitive Science and The Swedish Collegium for Advanced Study in Uppsala. Her research interest is how everyday cognition (on a higher level such as problem solving and decision making) should be understood, both from a theoretical and a descriptive perspective.
